Michael Kennedy serves as President of Advanced Cabling Systems, responsible for all corporate matters, including financial, operations, client relations and planning.
Michael graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in electrical engineering. Prior to joining Advanced in 1999, he worked on the National Missile Defense Program in Huntsville, Alabama, focusing primarily on the communications systems being developed by the Department of Defense. Michael holds the professional distinction of Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) and was the state’s first BICSI Local Area Network (RCDD/LAN) Specialist. Michael was named 40-under-40 by Arkansas Business and one of South Central Construction's Top 14 under 40.
Michael is a member of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, UAMS Family Home Cancer Support Center, the Museum of Discover, the Downtown Little Rock Partnership and the Pleasant Valley Country Club Board of Directors. His past community service includes being a member of the Centers for Youth and Families Corporate Board and the Our House working homeless shelter board. He and his wife Emily, daughter Ella, and son Ryder reside in Little Rock.
